As someone said recently - there's no reason to give tulpas negative traits on purpose, because those are things that will come naturally if they do at all.

Well, traits in general may just come naturally, trait lists aren't required in the first place. But it is easier to start the development process if you have an idea of who your tulpa might be like in mind first. (edited)

I’m trying to make them as different to me as possible kinda and some of those traits I need like overconfidence

It took our original about a week to start really noticing, the tulpa became vocal in 3 days but there was a whole doubt phase for a bit

independence is an odd thing. I have always had different opinions from Milk. It took longer to became truly vocal then to be “independent”

honestly I don’t think independence has an upper limit. Nor vocalist. People are always evolving
